Konnichiwa from the Tolman's. We had a wonderful experience before spring break. We were lucky to have Michiru come from Japan and stay with us. She was/is 13 years old, and this was her first time leaving Japan. She knew very little English, and at times it was very difficult to communicate. We struggled the first day explaining "America" bathrooms. We were asked to live a normal life while she was here. It just so happened the week she came we had alot of church responsibilities. Day 1 - picked her up and went right over to a Beehive Conference for Kylie, it started at 3:00 and went all the way to 8:30. I picked her up at 6:30 because I knew she would be tired. WRONG! She stayed up until 10pm watching a moving. I think jet lag kicked in at church the following day. We had family home evening, where we went bowling, this was her first time. Tuesday we had a down night, Wednesday we had Tyson's school play, then Young Women's, and Thursday, we had to take her to another family since we were traveling for spring break. It was a sad goodbye, and we miss her. We have made a wonderful friend across the world.

Sounds like a fun experience! How did you happen to arrange it? Was she an exchange student through the school? Is Kylie really a Beehive now?!
Kylie is finally a Beehive. There is so much I have forgotten about Young Women's it is fun to do Personal Progress all over again.
