Day 8 - The ride home

We found out that there was going to be construction by our home causing backups for up to 5 hours, and we did not want to chance being in the middle of that, and then to top it off Snoqualmie Pass had a snow advisory AGAIN, and we were not going to take our chances on that, so we decided to go through Oregon. We got up and out of the house 4:00am Seattle time. We thought the kids would sleep at least to Boise, well they didn't infact Tanner decided the only way he would travel is if someone held his hand. This last the entire trip home (13 hours ) We got home at 5:00pm and we missed the traffic. It was good to see everyone, but I am so glad to be home.

Bryan's parents came via Oregon because of that snow advisory too. It looks like a pretty trip. {I haven't driven it yet.} I'm glad Tanner was satisfied with hand-holding at least -- insisting on lap-sitting would have been much worse!!

It looks like you had a wonderful trip... with its ups and downs! Darn traffic. Glad you got home safely!

It looks like you had a good time, except for the drive. Kylie's hair looks really cute, does she like it? One of these days we are going to have to make it down there to see you.
