The attack of the bumble bee!

We went to parent teacher conferences and I asked Eli's teacher if he was wearing his jacket all the time in class. She asked why? I said that he is afraid of bumble bees. She looked at us with this weird look and said, " Oh I am so sorry about that." She then went on telling us the story of the bumble bees and Eli in her class. One day a bumble bee was in the class and she decided not to get it out but told the children to leave it alone, and as she did she felt this tug around her legs and looked down and saw Eli grasping on her legs so tight she could not move and he was crying. She looked up at the class and said," Ok, never mind kids it is time to get the bee out of the class." The next week 2 more bees came into the class and she quickly got them out. Eli was stung by a bee last year and we are still working on his phobia!

Poor Eli! What a traumatic experience that must have been in the classroom. Good Luck conquering that phobia!

Poor little guy! Pretty funny though! Jarom's pretty scared of bees too and he's never even been stung. At least it's better now that he doesn't assume all insects are bees.
