Well it is turning into a 21 day Christmas break for my children to be home from school and Tom will get an 18 day! Yeah me! Seattle has been pelted this last couple of days with snow and we have gotten 3 school days and the Army has closed post. We laugh because this is nothing compare to what Tom and I have grown up with(you know we had to walk to school in the blizzard with bread baggies for boots, and the temperature was zero, oh and yes the wind was blowing the snow sideways to make massive drifting, but only on the good days) But Lacey has about 8 inches of snow and this is about the most I have ever seen in the Seattle area. We are having fun making forts, snowball fights and sledding down are driveway straight into traffic, yes I know this is dangerous, but it will only come every 3-4 years. We are excited for Christmas to come. Great things are coming to our home. We will fill you all in later...........when we find out! We have been blessed this last year with many blessings and we are excited to see what is to come this coming year

Doesn't it make it feel so much more like the Christmases we grew up with?! Of course, the whole world shuts down around us, but we are loving it, too. Hope it lets up enough for New Year's Eve travel, though! :D
what good things are coming to your home??
